Vacancy – Seasonal Chef
A New Countryside Restaurant to open April / May 2021.
We are looking for a food loving chef for our brand-new, exciting rural venture to help manage and grow. We want you to create menus written around what is available in our walled kitchen garden and what the foragers find on the Estate, run the kitchen and work alongside our front of house team. We have an obsessive commitment to home-grown and local produce. We want to grow and rear ourselves to work with our gardeners and livestock guardians to use the freshest and most authentic ingredients or from local Yorkshire suppliers. Our restaurant is in the heart of the Estate with a captive audience of up to 150 Glampers. Simple food done well…..if you think you have what it takes…we want to hear from you.
Full Driving License.
Formal culinary training.
At least 2 years’ experience as a sous-chef.
Passionate about delivering high quality fresh cookery – field to fork.
Confident, motivated, hardworking with a can-do attitude.
Attention to detail.
Enthusiastic and willing.
Job-Type: Seasonal role until October with potential to extend.
Salary: £22-£25,000 depending on experience, pro rata.
Additional Pay: Profit sharing scheme.
Work Schedule: Seasonal position requiring weekend work.
